About the Programme

You are a passionate and hands-on security engineer who loves coding and driving real security improvements without creating unnecessary barriers. You want to actively shape secure environments and work closely with DevOps and development teams to embed security at the core of our systems.

Your Responsibilities

Take ownership of securing AWS environments, handling daily operations while developing and implementing long-term security strategies
Collaborate with DevOps teams to ensure security is integrated from the early stages of system development
Embed security into existing and new CI/CD pipelines, automating processes wherever possible
Review source code for vulnerabilities and guide developers on secure coding practices
Automate security processes using Python, Ansible, and other tools
Manage AWS services related to security such as Secrets Manager, ECR, ECS, and user access management
Stay up-to-date with new technologies and continuously improve security frameworks

Your Profile

Deep technical expertise in IT security principles and AWS security
Strong coding skills and experience with Python (essential); Ansible and CDK are a plus
Solid experience in automating security processes and systems
Competence with code repositories and management (e.g., Git)
Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure security
Familiarity with networking, ECR, ECS, and AWS Secrets Manager
Basic experience with cryptography, Java, GitLab, and Azure is beneficial
Hands-on mindset, proactive attitude, and ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders
