About the Programme

Are you passionate about global trade, supply chains, and the flow of raw materials? As a Bulk Commodities Analyst, you’ll help us understand and optimize the commercial landscape for bulk goods like coal, ores, and grains. Your insights will directly impact trading decisions and supply chain efficiency across international markets.

Your Responsibilities

Monitor global markets for bulk commodities, including economic trends, supply-demand dynamics, freight rates, and geopolitical developments.
Collect, structure, and analyze large datasets from multiple sources (market data, vessel tracking, customs data, etc.)
Build and maintain pricing, trade flow, and cost models for commodities such as coal, iron ore, and agricultural products.
Support trading and logistics teams with market analysis, forecasts, and strategic recommendations.
Prepare and present clear, data-driven reports and visualizations for internal stakeholders.
Collaborate with commercial and operational teams to identify trading opportunities or risk exposures.

Your Profile

A university degree in economics, business, data science, engineering, or a related field.
2+ years of experience in market research, analytics, or trading support – ideally within the commodities or logistics sector.
Strong interest in the global trade of physical raw materials.
Excellent analytical and quantitative skills; experience with Excel and tools like Python, Power BI, or Tableau is a plus.
Comfortable working with large, imperfect datasets.
Fluent in English; additional languages are an asset.
A structured, curious, and proactive mindset with attention to detail.
