About the Programme

Our Commodity Trading Apprenticeship Programme offers highly motivated individuals the chance to enter the world of physical commodity trading right away.

Over a structured one-year period, you will rotate through key business functions such as the trading desk, operations, and business analysis. From the very beginning, you will take on real responsibility — no shadowing, no minor tasks — gaining practical experience that sets you ahead of traditional university graduates.

Successful apprentices will have the opportunity to move into permanent roles within trading, operations, risk management, or business development, based on performance and potential.

Your Responsibilities

Depending on your assignment, you could:

Coordinate the logistics of vessel shipments moving tens of thousands of tons of commodities across global markets
Manage price risks on cargoes worth millions of US dollars
Support the financing of complex international trading transactions
Analyze market trends and support trading strategy decisions

From day one, you will be fully integrated into our team, with mentorship from experienced managers, programme leads, and senior traders.

Your Profile

A strong academic record (e.g., A-Levels, Diploma, High School GPA equivalent)
Demonstrated interest in international trade, finance, logistics, or market analysis
Highly motivated, resilient, and ready to embrace a steep learning curve
Willingness to work hard, take ownership, and actively seek growth opportunities
Strong communication and teamwork skills
International mindset and flexibility regarding potential future work locations
